2002–2003 – International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS)
I completed my education with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) – the international certification program in animal acupuncture for veterinarians.
The course took place in Helsinki, Finland, over a period of nine months.
2003–2004 – International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA)
I completed the international postgraduate program in animal chiropractic (IVCA) in Germany.
IVCA is a “sister organization” to the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) and is open exclusively to veterinarians and licensed human chiropractors.
2005–2007 – Master’s Degree in Functional Neurology
In the United States, I pursued a Master’s in Functional Neurology (Advanced Neurology, Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy).
2006 – Craniosacral Therapy
2008–2009 – Applied Kinesiology I + II
Completed in Germany as part of continued education in applied kinesiology.
2010–present – International Modules in Functional Neurology
Ongoing postgraduate training through the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (IAFNR) and the Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation, held in London, Amsterdam, and the USA.
2013 – Postural Rehabilitation 1 + 2
2015 – Postural Rehabilitation 3 + 4
2019–2020 – Receptor Based Essentials
Completed and passed five advanced modules, including:
- The Fundamentals of Clinical Neuroscience (CNS)
- Harnessing Receptor Systems in Therapy
- Autonomics: Fuel, Flow, and Function
- Reflex, Motor, and Cognitive Systems
- The Ten Principles of Plasticity
2020 – Fellow, International Board of Functional Neurology (FIBFN)
Successfully completed the human certification exam to become Fellow of the International Board of Functional Neurology (FIBFN).
2021 – Fellow, American Chiropractic Functional Neurology (FACFN)
Successfully completed the human certification exam to become Fellow of the American Chiropractic Functional Neurology (FACFN).
A Fellow degree is equivalent to the Danish Diplomate level.
