The importance of having your pet examined by a veterinarian cannot be stressed enough. Many diseases/conditions can worsen drastically if you don't start the correct treatment in time. Not many people would go to a social worker to have their car or teeth repaired... yet many seek treatment for their animals from "treaters" who have no insight into anatomy, physiology or diseases.

What is cheap and attractive in the short term can have major consequences for the animal in the long term, and end up being much more expensive.

Diagnosis

A proper diagnosis allows us to determine whether chiropractic care, acupuncture, or other approaches should be the primary treatment or used as a supplement to more traditional medical care. Veterinary medicine has become increasingly specialized, much like human medicine. Today, there are clinics focusing exclusively on areas such as dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, or neurology — all to ensure the highest level of expertise and care. This specialization significantly increases the chances of helping animals in the best possible way.

The Neurological Function

When working with a living body, it is crucial to understand that everything is controlled and regulated by the brain.

The nervous system connects every part of the body, and neurological dysfunction can therefore manifest through a wide variety of symptoms. Many patients that have undergone multiple traditional examinations without a clear diagnosis often suffer from underlying neurological dysfunction.
